so if anyone comes along with the same problem, tell them to either open the commandline and hit: ´´´defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE´´´ ∧ ´´´killall Finder´´´ to make the hidden .UltraNote folder in ~/Users/USERNAME appear, or
simply directly navigate to ~/Users/USERNAME/.UltraNote (e.g. via finder "shift-cmd-g", then the path)

Try from the terminal and type ls -la in ~/Users/USERNAME
